Sit back, relax and let the 2016 Canberra International Film Festival take you on a journey through the enigmatic world of film.
Held at the National Film and Sound Archive in Acton from 27 October to 6 November, the festival pays tribute to the international film industry through a series of events, workshops and screenings of works from past and present filmmakers.
A collection of acclaimed international titles will be screened each day, as well as archival works and for the first time local productions from Canberra – a special way to mark the event’s 20th anniversary.
Off the screen there is additional entertainment in the festival hub where you can listen to presentations from filmmakers about their projects and inspirations, watch short films and of course enjoy the staples of any festival; music, food and wine.
