The upcoming Harvest Season brings an array of exciting events to Canberra to celebrate Canberra’s District Wines. This year the Canberra District Wine Association brings us Canberra District Wine Week – A week-long celebration of what our local wineries have to offer.
The week-long program runs from the 4th-10th April, with a program full of wine tasting dinners and events throughout the region. The festival will conclude at participating cellar doors for the 2016 Harvest Festival.
A blind Wine tasting competition will be held at The Canberra Wine House, inviting all wine lovers to test their knowledge and enjoy our local wines.
Yass Valley Information Centre will be holding a Canberra District Sparking Tasting. Taste and chat with local Sparkling producers including Leading travel writer Huon Hooke.
Poachers Pantry and Willey Trout Vineyard invite guests to enjoy a Veggie Patch Dinner under the Stars. The chef will be cooking in the veggie patch using local vegetables from the garden and smoked meats from Poachers Pantry, perfectly accompanied by a series of Willey Trout 2016 pre-release wines.
