Canberra boys Paul McDermott and Tim Ferguson have teamed up with mentor Paul “Flacco” Livingston for a sublime night of songs, sex, violence, feminism (and sex) that revolutionised the world of comedy and made DAAS the world’s first and most feared, loathed and adored comedy rock stars.
Storming the UK, USA, Europe and Australia in the 80’s and 90’s, the dangerously brilliant DAAS broke the mold by taking comedy into rock venues, playing to huge crowds and becoming the Edinburgh Fringe Festival’s biggest selling act for eight years.
It was Canberra that relaunched the “Dougs” at the 2014 Canberra Comedy Festival. Their triumphant return to the stage saw them play sell out shows around the country.
Don’t miss your chance to run screaming down memory lane with Australia’s most controversial comedy export, with two shows only on the 22nd and 23rd of May at the Canberra Theatre Centre.
Meet the men who built the legend. Age has only made them angrier.
