In the spirit of Floriade, we want you to know about some of Canberra’s other gardens that are here year-round and just as fantastic.
As Spring charges on and with Summer around the corner, it’s the perfect time of year to be visiting the capital’s gorgeous greenery.
Start with the beautiful Senate Rose Gardens at Old Parliament House, a staple in the Canberra garden scene and utterly gorgeous. End your visit at the Pork Barrel Cafe, located on the grounds; the food is simply delicious.
Cockington Green is just minutes from Abode Gungahlin and has a little something for everyone; and by little, we mean miniature! Experience the delightful miniature village that includes trains, buildings and gardens!
Lennox Gardens in Parkes is a perfect place for a picnic and to enjoy some family time. As a gift from Canberra’s sister city, Beijing, this space will soon be home to a gorgeous Chinese garden! Stay tuned.
Another exciting garden development; the Federal Parliament gardens have recently opened to the public for the duration of Floriade! Make sure to stop by and see the beautiful gardens that are usually locked within the high-security walls of Parliament House!
Our gardens await…
