Canberra Balloon Spectacular
Held over nine days, Canberra’s Balloon Spectacular is a major highlight at the annual festival. With over thirty hot air balloons expected to take to the skies, this year promises an unforgettable view from the lawns of Old Parliament House.
Lights! Canberra! Action!
Shining a light on Canberra’s talented film industry, Lights! Canberra! Action! is a creative competition showcasing the top twelve movie-makers in the region. All contestants are given a list of ten items to include in their film, with only ten days to shoot, edit and produce a seven minute movie exploring the theme of ‘one small step’.
Bring a chair, blanket and snacks to Senate Rose Gardens at the Museum of Australian Democracy. Sit back, settle in and enjoy a night of short film.
