GENERAL
Yes, Abode Tuggeranong will be closing, as the building is being sold as residential apartments. A final closing date has not yet been confirmed, however, Abode Tuggeranong is no longer accepting any new bookings for stays taking place from 31 December 2024 onwards. At this stage, existing bookings will not be impacted. If this changes, we will be in touch with any affected guests directly, to help them make alternate arrangements, such as moving their booking to another Abode Hotels location. All other Abode Hotels properties, including our five other Canberra hotels, remain open and taking bookings as normal.

Abode Hotels makes travelling with pets easy. The following properties offer pet-friendly and non pet-friendly rooms, subject to availablilty: Abode Belconnen, Abode Gungahlin, Abode Kingston, Abode Narrabundah, Abode Malua Bay, Abode Murrumbateman and Abode Phillip. Abode Hotels welcomes assistance pets at all our hotels. If you wish to discuss your requirements with our team, simply contact the hotel directly.
All Abode Hotels are strictly non-smoking including in guest rooms, on balconies and all public spaces. We ask those who smoke to be always a minimum of 10 metres from the outside of the hotel. This also applies to e-cigarettes and vapourisers. Failure to comply may result in financial penalty.
All special requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Please contact the property on the day of arrival to make arrangements. If you have booked a room with a king bed and require it to be split, we appreciate a minimum of 24 hours notice.
If you plan to arrive after reception closes, please contact us to let us know of your ETA. If you have not arrived by reception closure, a text message will be sent to the mobile associated with the booking, with a unique code to access a key lock box near the hotel entry. We have staff available 24 hours on 1300 122 633 should you require assistance.
Reception hours vary from one Abode Hotel to the next. See the relevant property page for more details. Alternatively, we have staff available 24 hours on 1300 122 633. Only Abode Belconnen has 24 hour reception.
Our reception team are always happy to store your luggage for you, ahead of check-in or after check-out – safely and securely.
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability only. We will do our best to accommodate your request, however we cannot guarantee this. We recommend you phone the property directly on the day to make arrangements and confirm availability. Please note, charges may apply for late check out after 11:00am.
Check-in is 2:00pm and check-out is 10:00am, local time (AEST).
MAKING OR MODIFYING A RESERVATION
Abode Woden, Abode Malua Bay, Abode Narrabundah and Abode Gungahlin offer interconnecting room types, subject to availability. To request an interconnecting room, please contact our Reservations team directly on 1300 122 633 or reservations@abodehotels.com.au.
Abode Hotels provides several room types to accommodate for all needs, including guest rooms designed specifically for people who are mobility impaired. To request an accessible room, please contact our Reservations team directly on 1300 122 633 or reservations@abodehotels.com.au.
Roll-away or sofa beds are available in select room types at an additional charge of $60 per night (Abode Malua Bay only) and $40 per night, respectively, and are subject to availability. Abode Hotels considers children to be from 4 and 16 years. 0-4 years can stay at no additional charge using existing bedding. Portable cots are available in select room types at an additional charge of $20 per night, and are subject to availability. Please note, maximum occupancies apply per room type.

All bookings must be secured with a valid credit card, which will be charged 24 hours prior to arrival (excludes advance purchase rates and special discounted rates or offers). All credit card payments are subject to a surcharge of 1.59% on VISA, 1.59% on Mastercard and 2.75% on AMEX. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST. If a valid credit card is not presented, a cash bond of $200 may be required for security reasons.
If you have not received a confirmation email within one hour of making your booking, please check it has not found its way into your Junk Mail, before contacting us directly.
You must be at least 18 years old to book any accommodation with Abode Hotels. Photo identification will be required at check in.

We are happy to price match any comparable rate found for the same hotel, room type, date/s of stay, occupancy and currency. The Abode Hotels price match guarantee is subject to terms and conditions, and excludes the below:
- Rates that are not publicly available, including groups, corporate, long-stay and any other specially negotiated rates.
- Rates that are offered on last minute platforms, mobile apps of third-party travel agents, auction websites or member only sites.
- Rates that are the result of loyalty programs, private membership, subscriptions or rewards schemes
- Rates that are granted to employees, organisations or partners of Abode Hotels and their employees
- Rates that are part of a package which includes an airline ticket, cruise, car rental or any other service inside or outside the hotel
- Rates that are displayed on websites or portals that do not have an online booking system
To verify and assess the validity of the rate, we may request that you forward a screenshot of the rate which features the date/s and website to reservations@abodehotels.com.au.

No.10 Restaurant + Bar is located on the ground floor of Abode Woden, in Canberra’s south, and on the ground floor of Abode Belconnen in Canberra’s north. Unfortunately, we don’t have electric car charging stations on-site. We recommend searching for a nearby location here or via the PlugShare app.

Abode Hotels provide a full-service room clean every 3rd day of our guests stay. If you wish to receive daily or additional room cleans, please ask our reception team on check in or prior to arrival. For guests staying at Abode Hotels for 7 or more nights, you will receive one full-service clean every 7th day. Guests can access additional kitchen and bathroom amenities throughout their stay at our hotel reception.
Enjoy complimentary unlimited Wi-Fi access during your stay. To connect, simply select the Abode Guest network on your device and enter the password and your email address. If you experience any Wi-Fi difficulties, please contact our Support Desk on 1300 576 369.
Guests can place an order with Abode Pantry Online, during reception hours, and we’ll deliver your selection of snacks, ready-made frozen meals and beverages straight to your door. Visit yourabode.abodehotels.com.au, select your hotel, and then Pantry Online. Alternatively, guests of Abode Woden and Abode Belconnen can order from the No.10 Restaurant + Bar takeaway menu and have dishes delivered to their room, free of charge.
Making your stay as comfortable as possible, the Abode Pantry is located in the lobby of select Abode Hotels and is stocked with a variety of food and beverage items and other travel essentials. From healthy frozen meals, to midnight snack treats, the Abode Pantry has something to suit every guest. To make a purchase, simply visit reception.
Select guest rooms offer a work desk or nook and seating. Depending on your preferred location, we would recommend a King Studio, Executive Studio or One Bedroom Apartment room type to accommodate a comfortable working space.
All guest room ensuites are fitted with a walk-in shower.

Complimentary car parking is available on-site (subject to availability) for the convenience of guests at Abode Gungahlin, Abode Narrabundah, Abode Malua Bay and Abode Murrumbateman. Paid underground car parking is available on-site (subject to availability) at Abode Phillip, Abode Tuggeranong, Abode Kingston and Abode Belconnen, and is charged daily. For guests of Abode Woden, a metered government owned and operated carpark is located opposite the hotel, with entry via Matilda Street. Please note, Abode Hotels will not accept liability for any accidents, damage or loss incurred.
Select guest rooms include kitchenette facilities and a washer/dryer, and all rooms include tea and coffee facilities, complimentary unlimited Wi-Fi, STAYCAST by Google Chromecast streaming, air conditioning, and bathroom amenities by Ideology.
