By using abodehotels.com.au and/or purchasing products or services through the site, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
- You must be at least 18 years of age to book any accommodation with Abode Hotels. Valid photo identification (ID) matching the name of the main guest within the reservation must be presented at the time of check in.
- To make changes to your booking, you must contact Abode Hotels directly via 1300 122 633 or via the contact page.
- Bookings made via third party websites can only be changed by contacting the third party itself, not Abode Hotels.
No cancellation charge applies for standard bookings cancelled prior to 14:00 local time up to one (1) day prior to arrival. Beyond that time, the first night will be charged. No show bookings also attract a one-night charge. To make changes to your booking, you must contact Abode Hotels directly on 1300 122 633 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note, advance purchase rate bookings cannot be cancelled or modified, and are fully non-refundable. Strict cancellation policies also apply for groups and long stay bookings (14/30 days cancellation). Some packages and special deals may have a non-refundable policy. Please contact Abode Hotels directly to enquire about these terms and conditions.
All bookings must be secured with valid a credit card, which will be charged 24 hours prior to arrival (excludes advance purchase rates and special discounted rates or offers). All credit card payments are subject to a surcharge of 1.3% on VISA, 1.59% on Mastercard and 2.75% on AMEX. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST (goods and services tax). If a valid credit card is not presented, a cash bond may be required.
Price Match Guarantee
Abode Hotels can price match any comparable rate found for the same hotel, room type, date/s of stay, occupancy, and currency. This price match guarantee is subject to terms and conditions, and excludes the below:
- Rates that are not publicly available, including groups, corporate, long-stay and any other specially negotiated rates
- Rates that are offered on last minute platforms, mobile apps of third-party travel agents, auction websites or member only websites
- Rates that are the result of loyalty programs, private membership, subscriptions or rewards schemes
- Rates that are granted to employees, organisations or partners of Abode Hotels and their employees
- Rates that are part of a package which includes an airline ticket, cruise, car rental or any other service or product
- Rates that are displayed on websites or portals that do not have an online booking system
To verify and assess the validity of the rate, we may request that you forward a screenshot of the rate which features the date/s and website to email@example.com
Please read and acknowledge the following Terms and Conditions which are applicable for the duration of your stay with us. If you breach any of the below conditions, we may immediately cancel your booking and the full booking amount will be forfeited to us under this clause.
Check in/check out
Please note, standard check in is from 14:00 local time. Check out is 10:00 local time on the day of departure. Please contact Abode Hotels on 1300 122 633 if you require assistance or are planning to arrive outside of regular reception hours. After hours attendance for lost keys may incur a call-out fee.
Abode Hotels considers children to be from 4 and 16 years. 0-4 years can stay at no additional charge using existing bedding. Portable cots are available in select room types at an additional charge and are subject to availability.
Roll-away or sofa beds are available in select room types at an additional charge and are subject to availability. Please contact Abode Hotels directly on 1300 122 633 or firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements ahead of check in.
Please look after your personal belongings during your stay, including those in your guest room or vehicle. Abode Hotels accepts no liability for any damage, loss or theft to personal belongings whilst on the premises.
Abode Hotels recognises the importance of providing a safe and healthy environment for our guests and employees. All guest rooms and central hotel facilities are strictly non-smoking and are fitted with smoke detectors. Abode Hotels reserves the right to charge guests found smoking in their room a service cleaning fee of $400. In addition, if you are responsible for setting off a fire alarm, a Fire Brigade call out fee of $2,000 applies.
Housekeeping visits your guest room everyday unless otherwise advised. Housekeeping will not move personal items, so please ensure the guest room is kept tidy to allow the room to be cleaned. If the room is in an unacceptable state or wilful damage has occurred, we reserve the right to charge additional cleaning or repair fees.
Parties, Alcohol & Drug Consumption
Please note, Abode Hotels has a zero tolerance policy on parties being held on the premises. In the event that any guest room is identified as hosting a party or intoxication is occurring, Abode Hotels reserves the right to immediately request all occupants of the guest room up to, and including, the guest who has registered for the guest room to vacate the premises. Failure to comply with this request may result in further police action being taken against the person/s in question. In the event that an eviction does occur, the registered guest will be charged for that night’s accommodation and for any expense resulting from additional cleaning of the hotel guest room, replacement of any furniture/fixture/fitting breakage, as well as for any required repairs. The registered guest and their visitors will not be able to make future reservations with Abode Hotels. Please refer to the Party & Alcohol Consumption policy for full terms and conditions.
Select Abode Hotels offer pet friendly guest rooms, subject to availability. Pet friendly rooms are an additional $50 per night, per pet (or $250 per week, per pet) with a maximum of two pets per room which must be paid for at the time of booking or before check in. Pets must not cause danger, nuisance, noise, health hazard or soil the premises, guest rooms, common areas, car park or gardens. Pets must be kept on leashes or in a pet carrier at all times when they are in the common areas of the hotel. Pets cannot be left unattended in guest rooms.
